How it works
Filters are cheap and easy. The failure mode is forgetting, not cost. Everything here is built around that one fact.
Four steps
- 01
Find your size
Read the size off the cardboard frame of the filter currently in your system — it looks like 20x25x1. If the frame is unreadable or the slot is empty, measure the opening and use the size finder.
- 02
Pick a MERV rating
MERV 11 for a 1-inch slot, MERV 13 for a 4-inch or 5-inch media cabinet. MERV 8 is available if your system's return ductwork is genuinely tight.
- 03
Choose a cadence
Every 1, 2, or 3 months, or a single one-time order. The right cadence depends on pets, occupancy, and whether you run the thermostat fan continuously.
- 04
It arrives
A flat box at your door, sized to the filter. Nothing to sign for, nobody to be home for. Swap the old one out, write the date on the new frame, done.
Subscription or one-time
Both are available. The subscription exists because remembering is the hard part, not because it locks you into anything.
Subscription
- Choose 1 mo · 2 mo · 3 mo between deliveries.
- Skip, pause, change size, change rating, or change cadence at any time.
- No minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- No account to create and no password to forget.
One-time
- A single delivery, no ongoing commitment.
- Useful if you want to check the fit before setting a schedule.
- Same sizes and same ratings as the subscription.
Pricing is not final. Every number shown on this site is a placeholder while supplier pricing is settled. The structure of the offer is real; the numbers are not.
Delivery
Piedmont Filter Co. delivers across Charlotte and the surrounding towns: Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, Pineville, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Concord, Indian Trail, Waxhaw, and Belmont.
Filters are light and awkward rather than heavy and fragile, so the box is large and thin, and it fits behind a storm door or on a porch. Nothing needs a signature. If you are just outside the list above, get in touch — the edges of the service area are a question of routing rather than policy.
Changing or cancelling
Email or call. That is the whole process — no retention flow, no sequence of screens designed to slow you down, and no fee.
